*Someone just kill me!!! After ranting and writing about this dress, the post just disappeared!!! Just not my day…*

Sewn in size 104 using AH Surfin’ Pareo fabric, I reckon this is too short to be called a dress and it was prior to the hemming up. This is after hemming up and it’s more like a tunic if you ask me! So now I have to whip a pair of matching leggings.

It doesn’t end, does it??

Glad to announce that this is another hit with Arianna. Apprently she is now in the ‘pretty dress’ mode so anything that remotely looks like a dress normally gets her tick of approval. While I struggled a little with the gathers, it was more the zipper which was more of a problem because I used the normal zipper instead of the invisible one. But the one that caused me the MOST grief was the fact that I had to unpick the neck binding because once I had done everything minus the sleeves and bottom hem, Arianna tried it on and the back panels were ‘puffed’ up! :/

Not sure why but I think it’s coz I loosen the gathers to fit the neckbinding. And it’s mostly because Arianna is so into this dress that I decided that I should…I must unpick it and rectify it the best I can. And so I carried on with the painstaking task of unpicking and then sewing back the neckline binding which was such a PITA!!

I’m glad that it’s done and off my back. This is the last piece of Arianna wardrobe for now. Not sure what’s in store for my next sew-athon. Will be taking a super short break while I peruse my pile of patterns and decide what to sew next….summer clothes perhaps?
