Yes, it’s catchy isn’t it?
Actually, it’s more like a completed sewn item a day keeps MY insanity away! LOL My SWAP is progressing rather well. I actually completed this blouse in one day, not taking into account the fabric tracing/cutting of course. I’m talking about just the sewing bit. I think this new method of doing it really works for me. I take a couple of days off from sewing to trace out what I want to sew and then pick my fabrics, and cut them all up then I just sew and sew and sew! At least it will give me some time off the machine AND when I do start sewing, it’s faster to complete each garment.
I like it!!

Anyway, here’s the completed Orvokki blouse from Otto 1/2009, it’s a spring issue and I absolutely love it!!
I’ve sewn quite a few things from here and loads more will come out of it too.
I saw Aida pumping out a few of these blouses for Ava and I thought they looked really nice and decided to give it a shot. I like how it turned out and I think I’ll whip up a few more as well as they are quite easy to sew up and fast too.
Jeez, it’s nearly 1am!! I think I’m up too late, time to go to bed, I reckon….o, I forgot to mention that Arianna likes this and it fits her quite nicely too. I made it in size 104 but the sleeves are a wee bit too long but bigger/longer is always better than otherwise. But that said, I’d prefer it to be longer length wise so when I do sew up another one, I’ll have to remember to lengthen it. O, fabrics used are knit from SL and Stella knit for the sleeves. Yup now Arianna and I have matching blouses!
TFL…..
